Mother’s Day has a whole new meaning for Will Van Moorleghem.
The 51-year-old was one of three men chosen by “The Bachelorette” star Trista Rehn for a dream date with her mom, Roseanne, during a segment that aired last Friday on “Oprah.”
Now the divorced father of four is waiting for the skinny on his hot date.

An Indiana woman has a new look — and a new life thanks to an ABC reality show. Amy Taylor, 29, appeared on an episode of “Extreme Makeover” Wednesday night. The show takes ordinary people and performs a number of plastic surgery operations and other procedures to give them a new look.

Even North Carolina’s governor thinks “American Idol” contestant Clay Aiken needs to shake his booty a little bit more.
During a one-hour appearance Thursday at the state Capitol, Gov. Mike Easley met Aiken, a finalist on the Fox television talent show and gave the singer a North Carolina lapel pin for good luck.

LOS ANGELES There must have been something in the water (or, rather, Coca-Cola) on Feb. 11. That night, the second group of “American Idol” contestants performed with a trip to the finals on the line.
